1. Data Controller
The Data Controller for the processing of personal data is Bar Vittoria S.a.s. di Mercuri Davide & C., with registered office at Via Aldo Moro 16, 88042 Falerna Marina (CZ), VAT / Tax code 03558210799.
Contact: info@barvittoria.it · 0968 1967147
2. Nature of the data processed through the website
The barvittoria.it website is a static informational site: it does not use contact forms, does not require registration, does not manage newsletters and does not host restricted areas. Consequently, the Data Controller does not directly collect personal data through the website.
Should the user decide of their own accord to contact the Data Controller through the details provided (telephone or email), the data supplied will be processed solely to respond to the request, within the limits of legitimate interest and of contractual or pre-contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
3. Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of the website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet protocols (e.g. IP addresses, user agent, time of the request, URI requested).
This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is functioning correctly. The logs are kept by the provider (Aruba S.p.A.) for the time strictly necessary for these purposes and in any case no longer than provided for by the legislation in force.
4. Third-party services
The site loads some resources from Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) to
deliver the typefaces. Connecting to the Google server
entails the transmission of the user's IP address. The legal basis
is the Data Controller's legitimate interest in the correct graphic display
of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
For further information: policies.google.com/privacy.
The site also features links to the venue's Instagram and Facebook social profiles: these links do not activate any tracking components until the user voluntarily clicks on them. In that case, the processing of data is governed by the respective privacy policies (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.).
5. Purposes and legal basis
- Browsing the site — performance of pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest in the correct operation of the service.
- Responding to contact requests — performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Legal obligations — where the contact results in a commercial relationship (e.g. issuing receipts, invoices), the tax and accounting obligations laid down by law apply.
6. Data retention
Any contact details provided by the user are kept for the time strictly necessary to handle the request and, in the event that a commercial relationship is established, for the period laid down by civil and tax law (as a rule, 10 years).
7. Recipients and transfer of data
The data is neither disseminated nor communicated to third parties, unless such communication is required by law or is necessary for the performance of the service requested (e.g. IT and hosting service providers).
The site's hosting provider is Aruba S.p.A., with servers located within the territory of the European Union.
8. Rights of the data subject
Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, the user has the right to:
- access their personal data;
- request its rectification or erasure;
- request the restriction of processing;
- object to the processing;
- request data portability;
- withdraw at any time any consent that may have been given;
- lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

9. Erasure of personal data
The user has the right to request at any time the erasure of all their personal data processed by Bar Vittoria, including any data acquired through third-party services such as Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) following interaction with our social media accounts or with authorised applications on the Meta platform.
How to request the erasure of your data:
- Send an email to info@barvittoria.it with the subject "Request for erasure of personal data".
-
In the email, please state:
- your first name and surname;
- your Instagram or Facebook username (if the request concerns data obtained through Meta);
- the email address used for contact;
- a brief description of the data to be erased.
- You will receive confirmation of the erasure within 30 days of receipt of the request, as provided for by Art. 12 GDPR.
The erasure covers all identifying data kept in our systems (email, personal details, interaction logs). Data published independently by the user on Meta platforms (comments, likes, direct messages) must be removed directly by the user or through the Instagram / Facebook functions.
To delete the account or the data kept directly by Meta, please refer to the official instructions: Delete an Instagram account and Delete a Facebook account.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
The Data Controller reserves the right to update this policy to bring it into line with any regulatory changes or with changes to the services offered. The updated version will always be available on this page.
